Jermaine & Assata :: Wedding

These guys were such a fun couple with an equally jovial wedding party. I really had a blast at this wedding. Lots of great moments. Even realized at one point in the day that I went to high school with one of the groomsmen. Turns out, just about all of them were Jets at one point or another. Hornets sucked anyway, (yeah it's a rivalry thing).

The wedding and reception took place in Jack London Square. Everything was very classy and the colors were a great backdrop against the waterfront. Let me stop and say the food was just soooooo good. I know right, a photographer, shooting a wedding and then talking about the food. No, really it was amazing. I even included a shot :)

Fashion Shoot: R Douglas Custom Clothiers

Had a fashion shoot a few months back for a custom men's clothiers. R Douglas, (owner Ryan Hammond, suave looking cat running against the one way sign) caters to the discerning gentlemen with a array of custom made men's formal ware. The quality is so good that the owner wears it. Not just the president...but I also a cl...never mind.

So it was my first go at a fashion shoot and was honestly very pleased with the results. The difference from doing my typical wedding work is running with an over all theme and then sticking to it. After talking to the owners we decided with emphasizing on the whole "custom", "non cookie cutter", "have-it-your-way" feel the company is trying to brand. I think we captured it well. What do you think? They are currently in a branding over haul so keep your eyes peeled for a whole new look and new imagery from...ahumm, yours truly.
